Penspen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team. This full-time position is based in Al Khafji, within the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, contributing to significant projects in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.

The Role of a Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire electrical scope of major projects. This role involves critical engineering tasks and ensuring the successful implementation of electrical systems in large-scale Oil & Gas or Petrochemical developments, both onshore and offshore.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Overseeing the electrical scope for major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Performing and reviewing cable sizing calculations.
• Conducting and verifying load calculations.
• Managing and specifying switchgear requirements.
• Handling offshore and onshore power distribution systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Senior Electrical Engineer position must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of overall experience.
• At least six (6) years of specific experience in Electrical Engineering within major Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Demonstrated experience in offshore projects, encompassing commissioning, operation, and start-up phases.
• Previous experience with ARAMCO projects is considered a significant advantage.

Work Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time employment opportunity. The role is based permanently in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia, serving projects primarily within the Eastern region.
