Senior Structural Engineer (Onshore/Offshore)

About the Role

Penspen is seeking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer (Onshore/Offshore) to join their team in Al Khafji, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional with over 10 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will play a key role within either the Core Engineering Team or a PMS project team environment.

Role Overview

The Lead Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil personnel, potentially including Engineer/Senior grade onshore/offshore staff. This involves controlling and managing their activities, as well as delegating tasks to support personnel to ensure project objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and confirm adherence to design basis and main civil requirements.
• Ensure compliance with specifications for site grading, drainage systems, main equipment, tank foundations, and pipe racks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Strong experience in both structural steel and concrete design.
• Specific knowledge in dynamic foundation design is required.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Khafji, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role may involve working within a core engineering team or a project management services (PMS) project team, with potential responsibility for supervising other civil personnel.
