Join Siemens Energy as a Technical Sales Manager
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will conduct product demonstrations and build strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will conduct product demonstrations and build strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with specifications while overseeing factory visits and customer inspections. Your role will be pivotal in identifying market opportunities and driving the success of our gas-insulated switchgear products.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase product features and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Define and clarify prequalification requirements for GIS products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Implement strategies to promote gas-insulated switchgear products in targeted markets.
- Identify with Sales unaddressed markets and initiate prequalification of GIS factory and products.
- Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to facilitate product prequalification and homologation.
- Oversee factory visits and customer inspections, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to ensure alignment on customer projects.
- Report costs associated with customer-specific tests or factory visits and arrange their approval in accordance with internal procedures.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (high voltage Switch recommended).
- Around 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
- Familiarity with the offer/order process during daily project progress.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
