About the Role

Hemamco Company is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position involves supporting Saudi Aramco-approved projects and other potential client engagements, focusing on high-quality construction, safety, and adherence to engineering standards. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to develop, maintain, monitor, and analyze project schedules. The Planning & Scheduling Engineer will provide management with reliable information concerning project progress, critical activities, potential delays, forecasts, and necessary recovery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project baseline schedules based on contractual scope and milestones.
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity structures.
• Update project schedules using actual progress data.
• Monitor critical path and schedule performance.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules.
• Analyze progress against baseline schedules.
• Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks.
• Support the development of recovery and acceleration plans.
• Coordinate schedule information with engineering, procurement, construction teams, and subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Support delay analysis and extension-of-time assessments when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of planning/scheduling experience is preferred.
• Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or general construction projects.
• Experience with Saudi industrial projects is preferred.

• Demonstrated relevant academic/technical qualifications for the position.
• Relevant industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
• Professional accountability and the ability to work in a developing project organization.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage where relevant to the position.
