About the Role

Sons Sulaiman Hamad Al Saif for Land Transport & Logistics, a Saudi company with extensive experience in transportation and logistics, is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role operates within a dynamic, asset-intensive environment where strong financial controls and accurate, timely reporting are crucial for operational performance.

Role Purpose

The Accountant supports the company’s financial operations by ensuring the maintenance of accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, performing necessary reconciliations, and contributing to month-end closing and financial reporting activities. This position is integral to maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review financial transactions in accordance with approved company procedures.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including monitoring outstanding receivables and payables.
• Review invoices, payment requests, and their supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support branch and operational finance activities as required.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and conduct analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Identify financial discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Company financial policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all financial information.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records and process transactions efficiently.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
