Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant, Bar Sorter to join its operational team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to supporting efficient material handling and production processes within the facility.

Role Overview: Assistant, Bar Sorter

The Assistant, Bar Sorter provides essential support to Bar Sorters, focusing on the accurate categorization of rebars. This role ensures that materials are sorted according to specific size, grade, and batch requirements, which is critical for precise delivery and maintaining compliance with established production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and segregation of rebars based on production specifications.
• Support the movement of sorted bars to their designated stacking or storage areas.
• Aid in the transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed sections of the facility.
• Ensure the safe stacking and proper alignment of bars to prevent damage and maintain order.
• Contribute to the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and the surrounding work areas.
• Report any observed equipment faults or potential safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate any production-related or quality control issues to supervisors as necessary.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free sorting area to foster a safe and efficient work environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant, Bar Sorter position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. A foundational understanding of material handling procedures and adherence to safety standards are beneficial for this role.
