About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant, Bar Sorter to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to our operations, supporting the efficient and accurate sorting of rebars to meet production demands and quality standards within our facility.

Purpose of the Position

The primary objective of this role is to provide essential support to Bar Sorters in the precise segregation of rebars. This involves sorting materials based on their size, grade, and batch, ensuring accurate delivery and strict compliance with established production schedules and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and segregation of rebars in accordance with specific production requirements.
• Support the movement of sorted bars to their designated stacking or storage locations.
• Aid in the internal transport of rebars within the sorting and cooling bed areas of the plant.
• Ensure the safe stacking and proper alignment of bars to prevent damage and maintain an organized workspace.
• Provide support for the routine maintenance and cleaning of sorting equipment and the surrounding work areas.
• Report any observed equipment faults or potential safety concerns promptly to the relevant supervisors.

Collaboration and Safety

• Collaborate effectively with Bar Sorters, Cooling Bed Operators, and Forklift Operators to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Communicate any production or quality-related issues to supervisors in a timely and clear manner.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and consistently wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free sorting area, actively contributing to a safe work environment for all personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of material handling best practices and a commitment to adhering to safety regulations are essential for success in this role.
