About the Back End Maintainer Role

ORG UAC is seeking a dedicated Back End Maintainer to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of key manufacturing equipment, specifically the Necker and IBO machines. The role focuses on maintaining operational integrity, upholding quality standards, and implementing preventative measures to maximize production efficiency and minimize waste.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Necker machine operates properly, free from operational issues or quality defects.
• Examine, test, and measure products from assigned equipment against quality specifications using appropriate gauges and instruments, and accurately record data.
• Monitor camera operations, analyze camera rejects, and report findings to the area team leader.
• Set up, adjust, repair, maintain, and overhaul the Necker and IBO machines.
• Comply with all position-related safety SOPs and work instructions, particularly concerning Lockout/Tag out, Chemical Handling, Machine Guarding, Housekeeping, SQF, and Personal Protective Equipment.
• Inspect machines and analyze any mechanical or operational issues that arise.
• Execute changeovers or conversions by setting up assigned equipment for changes in material, size, or product.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections (PMI) on assigned equipment, report findings, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Work to maximize production output and minimize spoilage throughout the manufacturing process.
• Apply and implement the 5S system within the work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar maintenance or operational role within a manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position based in Ad Dammām, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
