Aljomaih Energy & Water (AEW) offers a Graduate Development Program - Finance, a full-time opportunity designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. This program is structured to provide a robust foundation within the energy and water sector, while simultaneously cultivating essential financial skills, leadership capabilities, and business acumen. Participants will gain practical experience with a leading industry player, contributing to AEW's mission of enabling sustainable progress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Program Structure and Learning Objectives

The Graduate Development Program is designed to equip graduates with a strong foundation in the energy and water sector. It provides hands-on exposure across key finance functions such as Accounting & Reporting, Tax, Asset Management Finance, and Corporate Finance. Trainees will participate in structured rotations, gaining practical experience and developing a strong foundation in financial operations and business partnering within a dynamic energy environment. The program aims to develop financial skills, leadership skills, and business acumen.

Core Finance Functions Exposure

Participants in the Graduate Development Program will rotate through various finance departments, gaining comprehensive insights and contributing to daily operations. The core functions include:

• Accounting & Reporting
• Tax
• Asset Management Finance
• Corporate Finance

Responsibilities in Accounting, Reporting, and Tax

Within the Accounting & Reporting and Tax functions, responsibilities will include:

• Learning fundamental accounting concepts and principles.
• Understanding components of financial statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assisting in recording invoices in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Supporting bank reconciliation processes.
• Learning and understanding various types of taxation and their principles.
• Gaining knowledge of individual country tax compliance requirements.
• Supporting the preparation of VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Assisting in maintaining tax documentation and compliance records.

Responsibilities in Asset Management and Corporate Finance

Within the Asset Management-Finance and Corporate Finance functions, responsibilities will include:

• Learning about financial tracking and reporting of projects and operational assets.
• Assisting in asset capitalization, depreciation, and fixed asset reconciliations.
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting for energy assets and infrastructure projects.
• Learning about financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Participating in cash flow monitoring and treasury-related activities.
• Contributing to financial presentations and strategic planning initiatives.
