Job Summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Production Operator for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the systematic and effective operation and monitoring of packaging lines and equipment to achieve production targets by maximizing line efficiency and minimizing packaging material waste. The Production Operator will ensure the production of quality products in line with business KPIs and maintain operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging lines and equipment to achieve production targets and maximize line efficiency.
• Conduct hourly process control checks and participate in quality wall meetings.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and ensure the production of quality products.
• Monitor and report material usage, wastage, and efficiency.
• Highlight operational, quality, and food safety issues to direct managers and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Manage line workers, maintain good housekeeping and GMP standards, and support IPS and food safety audits.
• Ensure effective utilization of energy resources such as water, electricity, and gas.
• Report workplace hazards and actively participate in the implementation and continual improvement of the OH&S Management System in compliance with PepsiCo GEHSMS, EHS standards, and regulatory requirements.

Performance Objectives

• Achieve required machine efficiency and material efficiency targets set by the department.
• Meet the grams give-away target set by the department, as monitored through weight control sheets.
• Manage packers, including break times, cleaning during flavor changes, and time tracking.
• Maintain machines in good condition by conducting proper bag maker and Ishida machine maintenance checklists.
• Ensure the workplace and machine are clean at all times, adhering to GMP standards.
• Report all health hazards within the workplace to the immediate direct manager.
• Ensure consistent production of quality packets.
• Attend quality wall meetings at least fifteen times per month.
• Implement, sustain, and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System at the area of responsibility.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to operate and monitor packaging lines and equipment effectively.
• Understanding of production targets, line efficiency, and waste minimization.
• Knowledge of process control checks, quality standards, and food safety.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and OH&S Management Systems.
