Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor, Manufacturing & Rotating Equipment to join its Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) team in Dammam, Eastern Region. The IET division operates across 120 countries, serving the entire energy value chain and industrial sector with a portfolio that includes rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. This full-time role is integral to improving the quality of engineering processes within the organization.

Role Overview

The Quality Control Supervisor will lead and manage a team of quality inspectors, ensuring adherence to company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position involves direct engagement with customers for inspection and closure meetings, as well as collaboration with production teams to maintain operational compliance and efficiency. The supervisor will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and addressing quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide quality inspectors, assigning tasks, monitoring daily activities, and ensuring team productivity.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Attend pre-inspection meetings and manage punch list closure meetings with customers.
• Ensure the completeness and on-time delivery of quality records according to applicable requirements.
• Partner with the production team to ensure smooth Cell operations and compliance with all applicable procedures.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) related to manufacturing quality issues.
• Monitor quality control metrics for observations/punch lists found during execution phases and take appropriate actions.
• Drive cross-functional improvement projects of operational processes using lean methods, aiming for flawless execution and elimination of waste tied to metrics such as escaping defects and observations/punch lists.
• Lead quality Tool Box awareness for the production team.
• Ensure effective implementation of Quality Control processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and rotating equipment.
• Experience leading a team of quality inspectors.
• Six-Sigma Green Belt Certified.
• Certified with ISO9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
