About the Van Salesman Role

Modern Mills For Food Products Co. is seeking a Van Salesman to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to customers. Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of the Van Salesman is to facilitate efficient product distribution while actively engaging with customers. Core Responsibilities

• Drive the company van on scheduled routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
• Load and unload products carefully, ensuring they reach customers in good condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
• Assist customers with product stocking, ensuring shelves are well-organized and products are properly displayed.
• Collect and confirm customer orders, ensuring correct product quantities are delivered.
• Process basic transactions, including cash or card payments, and provide accurate receipts.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, responding to their needs and escalating issues when necessary.
• Report daily delivery activities and sales progress to the supervisor, including customer feedback or challenges.
• Monitor and manage stock levels in the van, ensuring products are available for delivery as per customer requirements.
• Assist in promotional activities by informing customers about new products or special offers during deliveries.
• Keep records of deliveries, payments, and any returns or exchanges, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies during driving and product handling.
• Proactively identify potential sales opportunities with existing customers and provide feedback to the sales team.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Van Salesman position should have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a role that involves direct product delivery, customer interaction, and basic sales support. This experience should demonstrate proficiency in managing delivery routes, handling products, and processing transactions effectively.
