About the Video Editor Role

Tamm is seeking a Video Editor to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves transforming raw footage into polished, engaging video content for our e-commerce platform.

About Tamm

Tamm operates as an all-in-one platform designed for online selling in Saudi Arabia. We provide sellers with essential tools including a storefront, payment processing, ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing, and delivery services. Our print-on-demand factory in Dammam enables individuals to launch brands without requiring inventory or capital. The process involves uploading a design, producing the product only upon sale, then printing, packing, and shipping it directly, eliminating warehouse needs, upfront costs, and risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform raw video clips, including footage from the Dammam factory floor, into finished content.
• Manage the editing process across various formats, prioritizing short-form content, and including longer YouTube pieces.
• Oversee pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design, music, captions, and on-screen text.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and high-quality standard across all published content.
• Ensure rapid turnaround times to meet publishing deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in video editing.
• Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished work.
• Strong understanding of rhythm, sound, and transitions, particularly for short-form video content.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work while consistently maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics.
• Basic design capabilities.
• Proficiency in color grading.
• Skills in audio mixing.
• Ability to create thumbnail designs.
• Capability to also shoot video footage.

Work Environment

Tamm operates with a small, senior, and agile team. This is a hybrid role based in Dammam, requiring on-site presence for shoots and factory-related tasks, with remote work for other responsibilities. The role emphasizes ownership of outcomes and the delivery of polished content at volume.
