About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role is integral to supporting the mechanical management's objectives for equipment upkeep and operational efficiency within the plant.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Technician will contribute to achieving the mechanical management’s goals for equipment maintenance and ensuring optimal operation wellness. A key aspect of this role involves adhering to safety instructions to enhance overall plant productivity and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices specifically within the rolling mill environment.
Collaborate with senior mechanical technicians for the effective implementation of general maintenance work orders.
Understand the intended results of maintenance plans to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of work.
Report on relevant activities and provide status updates for all assigned maintenance tasks.
Perform various mill maintenance fittings work as required.

Safety and Compliance

Ensure safety aspects are consistently maintained within the workplace, concerning tools, facilities, and among subordinates.
Understand and strictly follow all organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
Maintain familiarity with all safety instructions directly related to assigned job functions.
Keep provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) in good, workable conditions at all times.
Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly to the concerned responsible personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance or a related technical field.
