About the Opportunity

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, focused on ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency within a plant environment.

Role Overview

The Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance will play a crucial role in supporting the mechanical management's objectives. This involves contributing to the effective maintenance and optimal operation of equipment, while strictly adhering to all safety instructions to enhance overall plant productivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices specifically within the rolling mill operations.
• Collaborate effectively with senior mechanical technicians to implement general maintenance work orders.
• Understand the intended outcomes of maintenance plans to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of work.
• Report all relevant activities and provide status updates on assigned maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety aspects are maintained within the workplace, concerning tools, facilities, and among subordinates.
• Perform various mill maintenance fittings work as required.
• Understand and consistently follow all organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Maintain familiarity with all safety instructions pertinent to the job functions.
• Keep provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) in good, workable conditions.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly to the concerned responsible parties.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting. A strong foundation in mechanical principles, coupled with practical troubleshooting skills, is essential for success in this position.

Work Setting
