About the Associate Professor Role

CATS Applicant Tracking System is seeking to recruit an Associate Professor with a PhD for Engineering disciplines. This full-time position is based in Dammam. The role involves contributing to technical innovation, upholding academic standards, and expanding the institution's research profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized lectures and supervise practical laboratory sessions in your engineering discipline, with English as the medium of instruction.
• Support and maintain ABET and NCAAA accreditation standards through curriculum mapping and assessment.
• Lead applied engineering research initiatives and publish findings in high-impact, peer-reviewed technical journals.
• Supervise senior design capstone projects and provide comprehensive student mentorship.
• Develop relationships with the industrial sector to secure research grants and identify practical opportunities for students.

Educational and Academic Requirements

Applicants must hold a PhD in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. To meet institutional excellence standards, the PhD must be from a university ranked within the Top 400 by Shanghai Ranking, Top 300 by Times Higher Education, or Top 200 by QS World University Rankings.

Professional Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in technical teaching.
• A strong portfolio of academic research.
• Professional fluency in English.
