Role Overview

Siemens Energy is seeking a Brazing Furnace / FIC Operator to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is central to our metal processing operations. The operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of high-temperature vacuum furnaces and related atomization equipment, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, quality inspection, monitoring, and securing tasks to support vacuum atomization furnace setup.
• Assist in preparing raw material charges and operating the furnace control board.
• Enter program data, adjust equipment settings, and vary temperature, timing, and atmospheric conditions (gas introduction or evacuation) as specified.
• Operate and monitor multiple furnaces in accordance with NQWI ****** standards.
• Efficiently produce certified parts, ensuring compliance with quality and process requirements.
• Select tools, fixtures, and programs for annealing and hardening a variety of metal parts and components.
• Assemble and braze metal and ceramic components using a range of brazing alloys.
• Perform minor repairs on furnaces, atomization chambers, and auxiliary equipment.
• Clean atomization chambers, furnace interiors, crucibles, and O-ring seals.
• Assist with the attachment and detachment of gas, electrical, and water connections to furnace lids and tanks.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in operating and maintaining high-temperature vacuum furnaces. Essential skills include proficiency in furnace control systems, adherence to strict quality and safety standards, and the ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on specialized equipment. A strong understanding of metal processing operations and brazing techniques is also required.
