About the Role

Perfect Vision is seeking an early-career Electronics IoT Repair and Maintenance Engineer to join its electronics and operations team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience. The role is critical in ensuring the proper functioning of devices before customer delivery, contributing to the prevention of failures and the enhancement of field service technician productivity and safety.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Electronics IoT Repair and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the comprehensive inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various electronic systems. This includes LMI (load moment indicator) systems, PWAS (proximity warning alert systems), DMS, and IVMS (in-vehicle monitoring systems). The primary objective is to guarantee these devices are fully operational prior to deployment, thereby minimizing client complaints and supporting operational efficiency.

• Conduct inspections and repairs on LMI, PWAS, and DMS systems received for in-house servicing, identifying and addressing component issues.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and part replacements for PWAS, LMI, and DMS components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot device malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend device lifespan and reduce unexpected failures.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations, standards, and electrical safety best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs, updating device manuals and documentation as necessary.
• Respond promptly to device failures to mitigate client dissatisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Solutions team on upgrades, modifications, and improvements to Perfect Vision devices.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of necessary spare parts and equipment.
• Provide training and development support to field technicians regarding new devices or device enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on IoT, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines. Proven experience in electronics maintenance and troubleshooting, particularly with electronic systems, is required. Familiarity with electronics codes, regulations, and best practices is essential. The ability to interpret electronics schematics and blueprints is necessary, as is proficiency in using electronics testing and diagnostic tools.
