HVAC Assistant Technician (Saudi Talent Early Career)

About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking a Saudi national for an HVAC Assistant Technician position in Dammam. This full-time role is designed for early career professionals with 0-1 years of experience, holding a Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning. The successful candidate will join the Service & Maintenance team, supporting experienced technicians with various HVAC system tasks at customer sites.

Role Overview

As an HVAC Assistant Technician, you will contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. This position offers practical experience with leading HVAC technologies, including Chillers, VRV, DX, AHU, FAHU, and FCU systems. It provides a foundation for developing technical and problem-solving skills within the HVAC industry, working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Attend service and maintenance calls for HVAC systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Perform basic refrigerant handling, leak checks, and component replacement under supervision.
• Read basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment and provide professional customer support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi national.
• Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in HVAC.
• Interest in hands-on technical work.
