The Role: IT Technician

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join its IT Service Delivery Division in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are eager to provide essential first-level technical support. The primary objective of this role is to ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT services for all employees and users across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Technician will be responsible for a range of support activities, ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems and user satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing first-level IT support for employees and end-users throughout the organization.
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Supporting network connectivity, internet, and Wi-Fi related issues.
• Assisting with software installation, updates, and antivirus management.
• Maintaining IT inventory and asset records.
• Monitoring and responding to IT service desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Performing routine system and data backup checks.
• Ensuring compliance with company IT policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following educational background and professional experience:

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in an IT support role.

Technical Competencies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate foundational technical skills relevant to IT support:

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
