Mechanic II ALTAAQA

About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a dedicated Mechanic-II-ALTAAQA to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position involves comprehensive mechanical support, focusing on the installation, commissioning, monitoring, and maintenance of various equipment and tools. The role requires a proactive approach to developing electrical skills independently and with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on all assigned equipment and tools at the site.
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to specified requirements.
• Inspect machines, engines, and transmissions, conducting diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
• Execute repairs with a focus on achieving maximum equipment reliability.
• Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance services and troubleshoot all rental equipment, adhering to manufacturer’s service manuals and published information, both in the workshop and in the field.
• Prepare and submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports as required by service procedures at the site.
• Identify and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse, or maintenance deficiencies observed on inspected equipment.
• Undertake minor and major mechanical repairs within technical capabilities.
• Be prepared to work overtime when required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair. A strong initiative to learn and independently perform electrical skills with confidence is essential for success in this position.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This position requires readiness to work at any location across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as operational needs dictate. The Mechanic-II-ALTAAQA will engage in day-to-day work-related interactions with the Workshop Team and regular duty-bound interactions with their Supervisor. External engagement will involve troubleshooting and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to either the Service Supervisor or the Service Manager.
