The Role of Pressure Vessels Fitter

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a Pressure Vessels Fitter to join its dynamic team in the Oil & Energy sector. Based in Dammam, Eastern Province, this full-time role is central to the assembly and fitting of pressure vessels. The successful candidate will ensure that all vessels meet stringent industry standards and project specifications, directly contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pressure vessels in strict adherence to engineering specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect and verify the dimensional accuracy and structural integrity of materials and structures prior to assembly.
• Collaborate effectively with welding and engineering teams to ensure correct installation and functionality of pressure vessels.
• Utilize appropriate fitting tools and techniques to achieve precise alignment and secure connections.
• Conduct thorough quality checks throughout and after the fitting processes to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while consistently following all established safety protocols and practices.
• Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of any fitting-related issues that may arise.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a fitter in pressure vessel fabrication or a closely related field.
• A technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical fitting or a similar discipline.
• Strong understanding of pressure vessel standards, codes, and safety regulations (*, ASME).
• Ability to accurately read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in the safe and effective use of various fitting tools and equipment.
