About the Project Director Role

HanmiGlobal MENA is seeking a Project Director to lead the full lifecycle delivery of programs in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves overseeing strategy, governance, execution, and stakeholder alignment for complex projects. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and extensive experience managing projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project strategy, governance, and execution from inception to completion.
• Oversee planning, design management, construction delivery, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project objectives, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve performance targets.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and quality standards.
• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and progress updates to senior leadership.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with authorities, government entities, and external partners.
• Resolve escalated issues, interface conflicts, and delivery risks.
• Ensure alignment of project phasing with development goals and land-release strategies.
• Drive value engineering, lifecycle optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong governance across commercial, procurement, and technical functions.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Line Manager and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Highly preferred: Chartered Engineer (CEng) or an equivalent professional certification.
• Highly preferred: Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, MRICS, or PgMP.

Required Experience and Expertise

• Minimum of 25 years of experience in large-scale construction and development projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in construction management, project governance, and mega-project delivery.
• Mandatory experience delivering major projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong background working in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle—from inception and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Proven experience in:
  • High-rise buildings
  • Commercial buildings
  • Towers
  • Mixed-use developments

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, operating within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) framework.
