About the Role

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) is seeking a Sales Supervisor to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves managing a team of salesmen and overseeing sales and distribution activities for assigned routes. The primary objective is to ensure sales and secondary distribution align with company policies, ultimately delivering sales targets and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM)/Branch Manager (BM) in setting sales targets for the team, providing guidance and motivation to sales staff to effectively manage routes and achieve targets within agreed costs.
2. Gather and maintain information on relevant sales and distribution channels and competitor activities within the area, sharing insights with the ASM/BM for appropriate action.
3. Ensure all sales staff are trained and proficient in executing the company’s replenishment program, guaranteeing product availability in correct quantities and optimal freshness according to system recommendations.
4. Execute agreements with Modern Trade/Wholesale customers as instructed and maintain strong business relationships with customer representatives in the designated area.
5. Optimize daily journey planning for salesmen in cooperation with them and in alignment with the ASM/BM, to enhance customer route efficiency and maximize productivity. The Sales Supervisor must be familiar with and recognized by customers across their areas of responsibility.
6. Monitor product shelf life at points of sale, ensuring reserved product space is filled, no expired products are displayed, and rotation and wastage control adhere to company policies.
7. Initiate and organize sales to new clients in assigned routes, aligned with relevant departments and sales and distribution plans, to increase sales.
8. Implement the approved company credit policy, managing credit and collections for all sales in the area to ensure timely payments.
9. Ensure all company assets are well-maintained and initiate necessary repairs or replacements.
10. Manage the required number and quality of personnel in line with SADAFCO’s HR policies to achieve sales and distribution targets, including providing training for new recruits and current staff.
11. Ensure accurate and timely data entry, administration, and reporting for the area using MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation) in accordance with sales and distribution policies.
12. Lead daily MSFA endorsements with each salesman, reviewing daily performance and identifying opportunities for action and follow-up.
13. Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy, and salesmen’s uniforms conform to company standards to maintain a professional company image and customer recognition.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum high school diploma or certificate.
• Completed vocational degree in business, marketing, or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of Van Sales experience or 2 years in a similar supervisory role.
