LanceSoft Saudi Arabia is seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator for Field Services Operations. This is a contract position based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in the field services operations sector.

Role Overview

The Service Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily directional drilling operations. This role involves supporting real-time decision-making, managing field engineers, and ensuring alignment with client drilling program objectives. A key focus will be on monitoring drilling performance, driving optimization, and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily directional drilling operations and support real-time decision-making.
• Manage and support Directional Drilling (DD) and Measurement While Drilling/Logging While Drilling (MWD/LWD) field engineers.
• Ensure operations align with client drilling programs and objectives.
• Monitor drilling performance metrics, including Rate of Penetration (ROP), Non-Productive Time (NPT), and trajectory compliance, to drive optimization.
• Maintain consistent client communication and manage relationships effectively.
• Ensure accurate reporting and data quality throughout operations.
• Ensure compliance with company and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Directional Drilling (DD).
• Experience in MWD/LWD operations and Well Construction / Drilling Services.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Petroleum, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
• A valid driving license.
• H2S certification.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in directional drilling and trajectory control.
• Knowledge of Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) design, including Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS) and motors.
• Understanding of vibration mitigation, torque & drag, and hole cleaning principles.
• Experience with real-time data monitoring and drilling software.
• Strong operational decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.
• Proven ability to proactively manage client expectations.
• Focus on minimizing NPT and improving drilling efficiency.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in Saudi Arabia, particularly within an Aramco environment.
• Experience in High Temperature High Pressure (HTHP) wells.
• Background in RSS and motor drilling operations.
• Familiarity with industry-standard drilling software platforms for planning and real-time monitoring.
• IWCF / IADC certification.
• Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
