About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a SR. Merchandiser to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a full-time position focused on optimizing product presence and sales within retail outlets.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary function of the SR. Merchandiser is to maximize the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products in all assigned outlets. This includes ensuring adherence to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays. The role also involves conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions when required. Any deviations from agreed arrangements must be promptly reported to the pre-seller. Additionally, the merchandiser is responsible for gathering and supplying the pre-seller with current market information to identify and capitalize on selling opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute daily journey plans for designated outlets.
  • Merchandise products across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
  • Place Point of Sale (POS) materials adjacent to product displays where applicable.
  • Ensure all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
  • Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) product rotation and remove substandard products.
  • Maintain clean and fresh stock on shelves at all times.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities.
  • Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets.
  • Submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.
  • Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional conduct in line with company standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A valid driving license is required.
  • Demonstrated service-level orientation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Performance Measures

Key performance indicators for this role include Execution Standard, LTA enforcement, and Journey plan adherence.
