About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a SR. Route Salesman to join our team in the Eastern region, specifically in Dammam. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience in sales.

Role Overview and Objectives

As a member of the KSA sales team, the primary objective of this role is to maximize sales volume, minimize product stales, achieve distribution targets, and ensure the implementation of agreed merchandising standards. The position also involves collecting accounts receivable and maintaining high levels of customer service. Adherence to operating procedures is essential to ensure consistent standards across KSA. Additionally, the Route Salesman will provide supervisors with market information to identify sales opportunities and attend training to enhance professionalism and customer service skills. Daily debriefing with the supervisor is a mandatory part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the full range of products to an assigned list of customers, meeting previously agreed sales targets.
  • Ensure product stales remain below the target set by the supervisor.
  • Provide customers with approved service levels, adhering to call frequencies and daily route plans to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks as per operating procedures, maintaining the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, and reporting any defects promptly.
  • Supply ready-to-ship customer orders on time, including full delivery details.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to agreed requirements to minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Implement agreed in-store merchandising standards as communicated by the supervisor.
  • Report relevant competitor activity in the service area to the supervisor.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of all cheques, cash, and credit sales.
  • Maintain a neat and presentable personal appearance.
  • Adhere to high driving standards and obey all driving regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales and Account building.

Work Environment and Performance
