About the Role

Dammam Airports is seeking a Treasury Director to lead and manage all treasury functions. This full-time role, based in Dammam, Eastern Region, focuses on ensuring efficient cash, capital, and cash collection management across the three airports (DMM, HOF, AQI). The director will oversee cash flow, manage bank accounts, optimize capital, and improve collection processes while adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement treasury strategies aligned with Dammam Airports' vision and goals to ensure financial stability.
Coordinate cash, capital, and cash collection initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for treasury operations.
Lead the preparation of payment documents, including payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all three airports.
Manage the review of bank statements and Ministry of Finance (MoF) requirements, overseeing bank accounts and preparing statistical reports.
Lead the upload of payment transfer instructions to banks and ensure efficient cash management and fund allocation.
Manage the transfer of all received revenues to GACA and ensure appropriate liquidity levels.
Supervise the issuance, review, and management of bank guarantees, including monitoring validity and expiry dates for all three airports.
Ensure accurate recording and management of various types of deposits and related documentation.
Coordinate with insurance providers to secure optimal coverage terms and manage claims processes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and the holding company.
Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure the implementation of treasury practices.
Coordinate with Commercial and other departments to identify collection improvement opportunities and ensure proper revenue recognition.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Assist in developing and managing the treasury department’s budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to achieve financial targets for all three airports.
Prepare budget reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
Manage the organization’s financial resources, including cash flow, investments, and capital expenditures.
Continuously improve and automate financial processes for scalability and efficiency.
Evaluate and implement long-term financial plans and investment strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to treasury operations.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with treasury activities.
Monitor trends and external factors impacting Dammam Airports' risk profile, providing relevant information to risk owners and executive management.
Drive innovation in treasury practices through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in treasury management or a related financial field.
Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence within treasury functions.
Proven ability to manage financial resources, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
