About the Role

Saraya is seeking a dedicated Business Development and Project Coordination Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for driving new business initiatives and ensuring the efficient execution of projects within the company.

Position Summary

The Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new project opportunities, preparing comprehensive proposals, and coordinating various aspects of project submissions and ongoing tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track new business opportunities and projects.
• Monitor tenders and projects posted on the Etimad platform.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for projects and tenders.
• Coordinate with various internal departments to gather requirements for project submissions.
• Develop reports and presentations related to projects and business opportunities.
• Oversee project progress and tasks, ensuring effective coordination with project teams.
• Draft meeting minutes and follow up on decisions and recommendations.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients, consultants, and other relevant entities.
• Provide support to management in business development and project coordination activities.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Follow up on decisions and assigned tasks from meetings with relevant parties.
• Manage official correspondence and departmental email communications.
• Coordinate appointments and meetings for management and the projects department.
• Organize and archive documents, files, and proposals to ensure easy retrieval.
• Prepare letters, correspondence, reports, and presentations as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering specialization.
• Practical experience in business development, project coordination, or preparing proposals and tenders.
• Proficiency in using the Etimad platform for monitoring tenders and applying for projects.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals; experience in preparing commercial proposals is preferred.
• Experience in the contracting, roads, and infrastructure sector is preferred.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• High-level skills in organization, coordination, follow-up, and time management.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with AI tools (*, Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for drafting correspondence, summarizing reports, and transcribing meetings.
• Ability to professionally formulate prompts and critically review AI-generated outputs.
