About the Opportunity

iHR (International Human Resources) is recruiting for a Treasury and Investment Specialist to join a governmental entity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract-based position, offering a professional environment for an experienced individual to contribute to financial management.

Role Summary

The Treasury and Investment Specialist will be responsible for managing treasury operations, cash liquidity, and preparing cash forecasts. This role involves monitoring bank accounts and investments, as well as analyzing investment opportunities to ensure efficient liquidity management and maximize returns, all in accordance with established policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update cash flow plans, cash forecasts, and liquidity plans.
• Generate periodic reports on balances, liquidity, and treasury activities.
• Monitor bank balances, daily transactions, and cash flows.
• Execute and review bank reconciliations, addressing discrepancies and outstanding items.
• Oversee bank accounts, authorizations, services, and bank guarantees.
• Coordinate effectively with banks and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct studies and prepare proposals for deposits and investments, including comparative analysis.
• Provide investment recommendations in line with approved policies and authorizations.
• Track deposits, investments, returns, maturities, and renewals.
• Develop performance reports for investments, returns, and associated risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Investment.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury, liquidity management, or investments.
• Prior experience within a governmental entity or an organization related to the governmental sector is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cash flows and performing bank reconciliations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP financial systems.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare comprehensive financial and investment reports.
