وصف الوظيفة

About the Role

Namaa Partners is seeking a Performance Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves working closely with partners to interpret client data, transforming complex figures into clear insights that support strategic decision-making. The position is primarily remote, with the company headquarters located in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Performance Analyst will handle client data, ranging from sales lists and operational reports to cost models and budgets. The objective is to develop defensible analyses that can be presented to a board of directors or partners of a family group. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of consulting engagements, from initial scope definition to board presentations, working with diverse clients across various sectors in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

  • Collect client data and organize it into clear work files, verifying the accuracy of figures and their sources before use in any analysis.
  • Build simple financial and operational models that compare performance across branches, units, or years, identifying gaps and potential causes.
  • Prepare slides and executive summaries presenting results to partners before client meetings, and revise based on feedback.
  • Attend some team meetings with clients, taking notes and identifying questions that require follow-up or additional data.
  • Monitor performance indicators after implementation begins and periodically update files to show improvements and areas that remain unchanged.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of reading financial statements or operational performance reports, acquired through study, training, or previous work experience at any level.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for building tables and formulas, with the ability to organize data before analysis.
  • Clear and concise Arabic writing skills, with the ability to articulate a single idea in a short paragraph.
  • Accuracy in handling numbers, adherence to deadlines, and openness to feedback and revisions on work.
  • Readiness to ask questions when data is incomplete or inconsistent, rather than presenting an uninterpretable figure.
  • Strong organizational skills for files and tasks, and complete confidentiality in handling client information.

Decision-Making Process

Partners define the scope of work with clients and then assign tasks to the team based on engagement needs, staying informed on file progress. The partner reviews results before client presentations. The analyst is expected to explain how specific figures were derived and defend their methodology if challenged. Conflicting data or changes in client requests should be escalated to the partner promptly. The analyst's insights are directly integrated into the presentation slides for partner review, not in separate memos.

Candidate Profile

This role is suitable for individuals who are comfortable working with data sheets for extended periods to reach conclusions and enjoy organizing numbers until they become comprehensible. Successful candidates write concisely, review their work before submission, and question the source of figures rather than making assumptions. They accept that initial drafts may be incomplete and are able to quickly revise based on partner feedback. The most effective analysts often manage multiple open files simultaneously and maintain clear priorities.
