About the Role

ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to oversee the successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic city objectives and generating measurable returns on investment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to final closure. This includes developing comprehensive project plans, ensuring technical information is communicated effectively, and leading project teams to achieve strategic goals and desired outcomes. The role demands meticulous oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and risk management to ensure projects are completed successfully and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and obtain formal project approval for project plans before initiation.
• Ensure project alignment with the city's strategic objectives and manage the project lifecycle for completeness and suitability.
• Define project scope and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and ensure clarity in deliverable approval.
• Build and manage project schedules, control budgets against baseline plans, and track deviations for timely corrective action.
• Identify, analyze, and proactively manage project risks, maintaining the RAID log and addressing risks promptly.
• Determine quality metrics and ensure the achievement of deliverables before formal submission.
• Distribute tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and manage resources and contracts, ensuring adherence to due dates.
• Ensure adherence to technical governance of information and operational policies.
• Manage the formal closure of projects, release resources, and deliver final project outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant project management experience. Essential qualifications include:

• Proven ability in strategic thinking and understanding of the business environment.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Capacity for decision-making in ambiguous and uncertain conditions.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in planning and managing schedules, controlling costs, and managing project risks and changes.
• Experience in managing resources and contracts, and maintaining the RAID log.
• Familiarity with project stakeholders and experience in developing project reports using project management tools.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves managing IT projects within the context of developing and operating industrial cities.
