Role Overview

V2X is seeking an AH64/AH6i Technical Inspector for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role operates within Aviation Maintenance Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) under the direction of the QC Manager. The Technical Inspector is responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of aircraft systems and components, ensuring compliance with established standards, and contributing to the overall safety and operational readiness of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality technical inspections of AH64/AH6i aircraft, equipment, vehicles, and their components, including airframe, power-train, power-plant, armament, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Inspect and sign off on red 'X' and circle red 'X' conditions related to aircraft systems and components.
  • Conduct in-progress and final quality technical inspections during maintenance, repair, modification, rework, and overhaul activities.
  • Determine the necessity for Maintenance Test Flight (MTF)/Maintenance Operational Check (MOC) and interpret inspection criteria for maintenance staff.
  • Inspect job procedural forms and maintenance forms to assure compliance with approved methods and procedures.
  • Act as the site QC Data Analyst, administering technical and compliance documentation, and establishing maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, and reports to ensure safe operations.
  • Assist the Customer in maintaining a current technical library and applicable aircraft forms and records.
  • Collaborate with Weight and Balance (W&B) technicians to complete records and documentation according to Customer directives.
  • Assist in the preparation, processing, and answering of Quality Deficiency Reports (QDRs), and support aircraft accident investigations and damage reports as required.
  • Conduct maintenance and technical inspector training, including inputting OJT training data into the learning management system database.
  • Ensure all quality control maintenance operations and related support activities are conducted safely and support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's degree required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Successful completion of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) is mandatory for visa processing and employment authorization in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ten (10) years of experience as an AH-6i, MD-500 series, MH-6, OH-58, or AH-64 MDS Aircraft Technical Inspector.
  • Five (5) years of experience maintaining specific or similar Mission Design Series (MDS).

Essential Skills and Certifications

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Inspector Authorization (IA) certificate.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  • Demonstrated AH-6i Technical Inspector (TI) and training experience.
  • Proficiency in using common measuring tools, precision measuring gauges, alignment fixtures (GFE), and the Automated Weight and Balance Software (AWBS).

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working within a dynamic aviation maintenance environment, ensuring adherence to stringent quality and safety standards for critical aircraft operations.
