About the Role

moomoo is seeking an Arabic Copywriter to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position requires an individual who understands financial markets, cultural nuances, and persuasive writing. The Arabic Copywriter will be the voice of Moomoo Arabia Capital, responsible for ensuring the brand resonates with local investors, from new traders to experienced market participants.

Role Responsibilities

This role encompasses two primary areas: localizing global marketing materials and creating original Arabic content across various channels.

Content Localization

• Adapt brand campaigns, product messaging, and promotional content from English into compelling Saudi Arabic, focusing on local context rather than direct translation.
• Ensure financial terminology is accurate, Shariah-sensitive where necessary, and sounds natural to the local audience.
• Maintain the brand's tone of voice ("confident, concise, never patronizing") while adapting it to local cultural codes.
• Challenge source copy when direct adaptation is ineffective, proposing alternatives that achieve the intended strategic goal.
• Collaborate with the China-based marketing team to bridge cultural and linguistic differences.

Original Content Creation

Develop original Arabic-first copy for a wide range of marketing channels and formats, including:

• Brand advertising: Headlines, taglines, and scripts for brand campaigns (OOH, video, social).
• Performance advertising: Short-form ad copy for platforms such as Google, Twitter/X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Apple Search Ads.
• KOL/Influencer: Video scripts and talking points for collaborations.
• Website & App: Landing pages, onboarding flows, feature descriptions, and in-app messaging.
• SEO content: Blog posts, educational articles, and evergreen content optimized for Arabic search.
• Social media: Organic posts, campaign copy, and community engagement content.
• CRM: Push notifications, email sequences, and SMS, maintaining a respectful and non-transactional tone.

Required Qualifications

• Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English. Ability to write in a dialect and register that resonates with young local professionals in KSA (not textbook MSA, not overly colloquial).
• A minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience, preferably within fintech, investment platforms, banking, or trading-adjacent industries.
• Strong understanding of stock and investment concepts, including terms such as P/E ratio, options chain, and IPO subscription, with the ability to write about them clearly.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of work, from concise ad headlines to long-form content.
• Cultural fluency, with an instinctive understanding of appropriate tone for KSA (confident but not arrogant, informative but not condescending, aspirational but not detached).

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in stock trading or equity investing.
• Experience working with performance marketing teams, including an understanding of A/B testing copy and CTR optimization.
• Experience writing for video or short-form content platforms (*, TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Previous work with a global brand, adapting messaging for the Saudi market.
• Understanding of CMA advertising regulations for financial products.
