The project scope encompasses the delivery of new sports venues, increasing the capacity of existing stadia, developing major mixed-use amenities, and implementing robust knowledge-transfer programs. These efforts aim to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond the construction phase.

The Role: Assistant Strategic Planning & Governance Manager

As an Assistant Strategic Planning & Governance Manager, you will contribute to the successful execution of Mace's strategic project management consultancy in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting senior management in delivering project objectives, managing tasks, and ensuring compliance with project plans and quality standards. The role is central to maintaining project integrity and driving key initiatives within the large-scale stadium and precinct transformation program.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical services and external resources for various project components.
• Deliver project objectives in alignment with established plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage assigned tasks and provide support to senior managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, identified risks, and implemented mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the procurement processes for consultants and contractors.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with Mace's operational standards, known as "the Mace Way."
• Document and manage project changes and handover requirements effectively.
• Drive sustainability and net zero carbon goals throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A degree qualification in a relevant subject is essential.
• A minimum of 6 years of postgraduate professional experience is essential.

Desirable Skills and Memberships

• Experience in stadium, events, or sports venue projects is an advantage.
• Possession of chartered or other relevant professional memberships is an advantage.
