About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking an Associate Category Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to the Amazon Now quick commerce program in Saudi Arabia, operating within a competitive and fast-moving retail market.

Role Purpose

The Associate Category Manager will own the end-to-end vendor relationship for a designated portfolio of suppliers. This role focuses on driving selection, ensuring availability, and optimizing commercial performance across Amazon's dark store and superstore network. The position requires using data to identify opportunities and gaps, translating vendor performance into customer-facing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a vendor portfolio across assigned categories, building strong relationships and ensuring vendors are set up for long-term success on the platform.
• Drive selection expansion by identifying and onboarding new ASINs that align with category strategy and help achieve overall ASIN targets.
• Improve numeric distribution and fill rates by working closely with vendors to optimize availability, reduce stockouts, and strengthen supply chain reliability.
• Lead regular vendor business reviews to assess performance, share insights, and align on growth opportunities and improvement areas.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and deals, ensuring vendors are engaged and aligned to maximize impact.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a customer-first mindset. Successful candidates will operate with a high degree of ownership and demonstrate clear communication skills with both vendors and internal stakeholders.

Working Environment and Collaboration

The Associate Category Manager will work closely with vendors to onboard new selection, close availability gaps, negotiate trading terms, and ensure in-stock positions meet the high standards required for quick commerce. This position involves partnering with internal teams, including Category Leadership, Supply Chain, and Operations, and contributing directly to Anow's growth in Saudi Arabia.
