About the Automation Operation & Maintenance Technician Role

CJ Logistics KSA – SILZ, a key logistics provider in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Automation Operation & Maintenance Technician. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the seamless functionality of our advanced warehouse automation systems, primarily focusing on conveyor systems, within a dynamic live production environment. The role demands a hands-on approach to maintain operational efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily hands-on inspections of automation and conveyor systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and execute minor corrective repairs.
Undertake first-level troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC issues.
Execute parts replacement and ensure equipment restart following maintenance.
Maintain accurate maintenance reporting and ensure strict adherence to safety compliance protocols, including LOTO and 5S principles.

Qualifications and Experience

Possess a technical diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in a relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Working knowledge of English for technical documentation and troubleshooting purposes.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with conveyor systems.
Basic PLC awareness, including monitoring and fault identification.

Work Environment and Availability

This role operates within a live production environment, requiring a proactive and responsive approach to system operation and maintenance. Candidates must be available for immediate joining.
