About the Biomedical Engineer Role

Aljeel Medical is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for a motivated professional with a passion for medical technology and strong technical skills, who thrives in a customer-focused environment. The role involves critical support for our biomedical equipment operations.

Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of this role is to perform comprehensive technical activities related to the biomedical equipment sold by Aljeel Medical. This includes installation, periodic preventive maintenance (PPMs), repair, testing, commissioning, and managing recalls, ensuring the highest standards of equipment functionality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement all technical activities necessary for the installation, repair, and recall management of medical equipment.
• Report all technical activities to the direct supervisor on a weekly basis.
• Adhere to all processes and procedures in accordance with the company's internal policy.
• Provide knowledge transfer and internal training for new service field personnel.
• Report any issues that could potentially harm the company to the direct manager.
• Perform all daily activities as instructed by the direct supervisor.
• Support the company's sales team activities.
• Travel extensively (approximately 70% internal travel) to respond to on-site technical requests, conduct equipment maintenance, and provide client support across assigned regions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Specifically, 2-3 years of experience with laboratory machines is required.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires significant internal travel, estimated at 70%, to provide on-site technical support and client services across various regions. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic service team, contributing to both technical operations and sales support.
