Business Analyst ERP

About the Role

Dafater is seeking a Business Analyst ERP to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, analyze processes, and translate requirements into actionable specifications for ERP solutions. The Business Analyst will serve as a crucial link between business stakeholders and functional/technical teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from discovery to adoption.

Role Context and Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that proposed ERP solutions effectively address agreed-upon business objectives. The Business Analyst will maintain clear, traceable, and validated requirements throughout the delivery process, connecting business stakeholders with functional and technical teams during solution design, implementation, testing, and ongoing adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify business objectives, operational challenges, and requirements.
• Document current processes and design improved future processes, including clear workflows, business rules, roles, and controls.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis against ERP capabilities and recommend appropriate configuration, process changes, or customization.
• Produce business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria relevant to the delivery approach.
• Prioritize requirements with stakeholders, obtain approvals, and maintain traceability from business needs through implementation and testing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions.
• Define business requirements for reports, data migration, integrations, and access permissions, coordinating with relevant specialists.
• Prepare user acceptance testing scenarios, support business users during testing, and coordinate defect clarification and resolution.
• Assess the impact of requirement changes and communicate implications to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Support training materials, process documentation, go-live readiness, and handover to Customer Success and support teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant business analyst role, specifically with ERP solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into effective ERP solutions.
• Experience working with collaborative teams focused on innovation and practical problem-solving.
