About the Role

Devoteam is seeking a Business Architect to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role serves as a strategic link between business vision and enterprise execution, focusing on developing, governing, and enhancing the organization's business architecture. The objective is to ensure alignment between strategy, capabilities, processes, products, and transformation initiatives.

Role Context and Purpose

The Business Architect leverages industry-leading frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, BPMN , BAGuild, eTOM, APQC, and ABPMP. The role is critical for enabling business transformation by defining current and future-state architectures, identifying capability gaps, and ensuring that enterprise investments deliver measurable business value. This position involves strategic advisory and active participation in governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline and target-state business architectures aligned with corporate objectives and digital transformation strategies.
• Document and analyze business capabilities, value streams, processes, information models, organizational structures, and operating models.
• Design future-state business models to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
• Conduct structured gap assessments between current and target business architectures and define recommendations to bridge identified gaps.
• Establish and maintain business architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and governance practices, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Develop and maintain enterprise capability maps, value stream maps, process architectures, and business operating models, applying BPMN , eTOM, APQC, and industry best practices.
• Partner with business leaders, product owners, and transformation teams to align initiatives with enterprise strategy.
• Conduct impact analyses related to strategic, regulatory, technological, and organizational changes, providing recommendations for informed decisions.
• Capture emerging business needs, translate them into architectural requirements, and evaluate solution feasibility and business value.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and transformation plans, defining implementation sequencing and success metrics.
• Mentor stakeholders on business architecture, business process management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in business architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in industry-leading frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, BPMN , BAGuild, eTOM, APQC, and ABPMP.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex business architectures.
• Experience in conducting gap analyses and transformation planning.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture governance principles and practices.
