Business Development & Sales Manager

About the Role

THA by Armonia is seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The client is a leading live communication and brand experience agency in the GCC, serving major corporate and government clients. This full-time role focuses on driving commercial growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across various markets and sectors.

Role Responsibilities

The Business Development & Sales Manager will be responsible for finding, developing, and winning new business, converting client needs into lasting partnerships and tailored event solutions. This role involves close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and the creative team, ensuring alignment between client objectives and creative delivery.

• Identify and qualify new leads across corporate, semi-government, and government sectors, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Develop commercial proposals that align with client objectives, budget, and brand vision.
• Leverage and expand an existing network within Riyadh's government entities and private companies to secure new mandates.
• Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders, procurement teams, and marketing and communications leaders.
• Navigate government procurement processes and tender requirements effectively.
• Lead commercial pitches with the CEO and creative team, ensuring strategic soundness and creative strength.
• Translate client briefs into clear directives for internal teams to meet commercial and creative expectations.
• Present agency capabilities and proposals confidently to senior client audiences.
• Research and monitor market trends in live communication, media, live events, and brand experiences across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Identify opportunities linked to national initiatives, major events, and sector growth under Vision 2030.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to inform commercial strategy.
• Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact.
• Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and account growth.
• Ensure a high-quality client experience from initial engagement through project delivery.
• Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking platforms.
• Enhance the agency's profile and reputation within Riyadh's business and government communities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. A strong network of senior and C-Suite level contacts across private-sector companies and government entities in Riyadh is essential. This includes established relationships with decision-makers in ministries, authorities, giga-projects, and leading corporates. An understanding of marketing strategies and current market trends is also required to effectively target key decision-makers through various networking and social networking platforms.
