CAD Operator

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and organized CAD Operator to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using industry-standard CAD software. The CAD Operator will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts into precise digital models and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
• Interpret and analyze design briefs, sketches, and technical documentation to produce accurate digital representations.
• Organize and maintain CAD files, ensuring proper naming conventions, version control, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for production, construction, or manufacturing purposes.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Assist in the development of design standards and CAD templates to improve workflow efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status, revisions, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot CAD software issues and optimize performance to maintain productivity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant CAD Operator role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
