About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Consultant, Pediatric Emergency Medicine. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for medical conditions within the field of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, adhering to established medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across all aspects of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, in line with approved clinical privileges.
• Deliver timely consultations for both inpatients and emergency room cases upon request, adhering to the hospital's prescribed timeframes.
• Ensure the timely completion, accuracy, and legibility of all medical records.
• Provide on-call services, maintaining availability and response times as stipulated by hospital policy.
• Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for transfer or discharge, ensuring that relevant orders are issued 24 hours in advance.
• Undertake any other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty as assigned.

Professional Development and Education

• Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as required.
• Actively participate in the Department’s educational activities and training programs.
• Engage in national and international medical conferences to stay abreast of advancements.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and fulfill continuing education requirements.
