The Role: Process Governance Manager

Almarai is seeking a full-time Process Governance Manager to strategically oversee process governance, compliance, and the continuity of business processes. This role ensures appropriate Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) interventions are in place to support and enhance operational frameworks within the Central Procurement Department (CPD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain procurement processes, policies, and related documentation across the Central Procurement Department.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and communicate changes, best practices, and technology enhancements to procurement teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of Almarai’s procurement strategy and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to improve procurement systems and digital solutions.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, compliance standards, KPIs, training materials, and comprehensive process documentation.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Almarai and outsourcing partners, ensuring effective collaboration, risk mitigation, and timely achievement of agreed objectives.
  • Monitor service levels and performance metrics, identify process deviations, and manage improvement actions and escalations as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance procurement capabilities and ensure consistent process execution among procurement teams and outsourcing partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • An MBA and/or CIPS certification is preferred.

Experience and Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, process improvement, or a related supply chain environment.
  • Proven experience in driving process optimization, governance, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Experience managing outsourcing partners and third-party service providers.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement operations, and data management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and technology-driven process improvements is preferred.

Work Location

This full-time position is based at Almarai's headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
