The Role: Process Governance Manager

Almarai is seeking a Process Governance Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to strategically overseeing process governance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the continuity of business processes. The manager will also be responsible for appropriate interventions related to Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to support these functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain procurement processes, policies, and related documentation within the Central Procurement Department (CPD).
• Lead process improvement initiatives and communicate changes, best practices, and technology enhancements to procurement teams and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of Almarai’s procurement strategy and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) to improve procurement systems and digital solutions.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, compliance standards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), training materials, and comprehensive process documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between Almarai and outsourcing partners, ensuring effective collaboration, risk mitigation, and the timely achievement of agreed objectives.
• Monitor service levels and performance metrics, identify process deviations, and manage improvement actions and escalations as needed.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance procurement capabilities and ensure consistent process execution across procurement teams and outsourcing partners.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in process governance, compliance, or procurement operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage stakeholder communication.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, compliance standards, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in collaborating with IT departments for system enhancements.
• Strong capabilities in developing and delivering training programs.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Almarai's headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on optimizing procurement and business processes across a large-scale organization.
