Cloud Engineer

About the Role

Cyberani by Aramco Digital is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and optimization, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Monitor cloud systems' performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Perform regular updates, patch management, and backup strategies to maintain system reliability.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network protection.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as NCA and Aramco.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical support to resolve incidents and improve user experiences.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage concepts in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (*, Python, Bash).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Cloud certifications (*, Oracle Cloud Certified Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
