The Opportunity: Cloud Security Engineer

Safe Decision is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in the field. The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud architectures and solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess cloud security risks.
• Configure and monitor security controls.
• Manage identity and access within cloud environments.
• Respond to security incidents in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform security assessments and audits.
• Support compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.
• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to optimize security posture.
• Improve detection and response capabilities.
• Ensure cloud services meet Safe Decision’s reliability and simplicity standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong skills in cloud platforms (*, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud-native security services and tools.
• Proficiency in network and infrastructure security, including firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and secure configuration of cloud networking components.
• Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), including role-based access control (RBAC), single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management (PAM) in cloud environments.
• Skills in security monitoring and incident response, including the use of SIEM, log analysis, threat detection, and remediation in cloud systems.
• Competence in security architecture and risk assessment, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and implementation of security best practices.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or cloud provider security certifications (*, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (*, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and regional regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Environment and Application
