About the Role

MOBCO Group is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience, preferably within the construction sector, to support the commercial and contractual activities of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination, documentation, and analytical skills, with a background in Business Administration, Commercial Management, Contract Management, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commercial and contractual activities across construction projects.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and commercial documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of commercial correspondence, variations, claims, and contractual obligations.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of payment applications, invoices, and commercial submissions.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure timely completion of commercial processes.
  • Track project variations, change orders, and commercial approvals.
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, commitments, and commercial performance.
  • Prepare commercial reports, trackers, and presentations for management review.
  • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues and maintain project progress.
  • Ensure commercial documentation is properly organized and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support contract administration and compliance with project requirements.
  • Perform other commercial coordination duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the construction, contracting, or EPC industry.
  • Previous experience in Commercial Coordination, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Contracts Administration, or Project Administration.
  • Exposure to variations, claims, payment applications, subcontract administration, and project close-out.
  • Working knowledge of standard construction contract forms, such as FIDIC, and an understanding of variation, claim, and close-out procedures.
  • Good understanding of construction project workflows, procurement processes, and subcontractor/supplier coordination.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with ERP or commercial management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong document management, reporting, coordination, and analytical capabilities.
  • High attention to contractual detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Experience with variations, claims, payment applications, and subcontract administration.
  • Familiarity with construction project commercial procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to prepare commercial trackers and management reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on supporting commercial and contractual activities within the construction sector.
