About the Role

Cloud Consultancy - CCDS is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the security of enterprise architectures across diverse technological landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, contributing to the strategic design and governance of secure systems.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this position is to design, review, and govern secure enterprise architectures. This encompasses a broad range of areas including applications, infrastructure, networks, integrations, and cloud services. The specialist will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review solution and enterprise architectures to identify security risks, control gaps, and design weaknesses.
• Define security architecture requirements, patterns, reference designs, and technical control recommendations.
• Review application, infrastructure, network, firewall, segmentation, API, third-party integration, and cloud designs.
• Provide guidance on defense in depth, Zero Trust, isolation, least privilege, secure connectivity, and resilient architecture principles.
• Perform architecture risk assessments and document findings, remediation actions, exceptions, and residual risk.
• Participate in project design reviews, security approval gates, and technical change reviews.
• Contribute to the enterprise cybersecurity architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with Ministry policies, NCA controls, and recognized industry standards.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, network, cloud, IAM, SOC, and GRC teams to embed security throughout solution lifecycles.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates should bring 5-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture. Beyond technical expertise, the role requires specific personal attributes:

• Strategic and systems-oriented thinking with strong attention to technical detail.
• Influential communication skills and the ability to constructively challenge designs.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate risk and regulatory requirements into practical architecture decisions.

Technical Guidance and Collaboration

This role demands a proactive approach to embedding security. The specialist will be responsible for providing expert guidance on advanced security concepts such as defense in depth and Zero Trust. Effective collaboration with various technical and governance teams is crucial to integrate security seamlessly across all stages of solution development and deployment.
