About the Role

Egis is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist Senior Metro to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the robust security of project information and process systems/applications within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities and System Protection

The specialist will be responsible for critical operational tasks related to cybersecurity, including account administration, incident response, and the implementation of protection technologies. This role involves maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of essential IT infrastructure.

Operational Duties and Technical Oversight

• Manage operational tasks for account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, and waiver/policy assistance.
• Implement cybersecurity and protection technologies for project information and process systems/applications.
• Act as a contact with suppliers to develop technical solutions for computer security needs and provide recommendations to management.
• Develop, maintain, and audit the analytical and technical aspects of major computer security systems.
• Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computer workstations, servers, and local area networks by managing user accounts and upgrading systems/software.
• Ensure secure operations of security equipment and the secure transmission of sensitive unclassified information, protecting cryptographic principles and methods.

Threat Mitigation and Vulnerability Management

• Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities that could compromise corporate and client data.
• Conduct operations of computer protection measures and create measurement tools for system vulnerability assessments.
• Oversee the investigation of computer security incidents and assist with cybersecurity initiatives.

Collaboration and User Support

• Provide technical support, training, and timely computer system data recovery to end-users.
• Serve on project teams and internal committees to represent cybersecurity interests.
• Oversee the client/server/infrastructure group on appropriate procedures for computer/system security.

Experience and Work Environment

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles, demonstrating a strong background in system protection, incident response, and vulnerability management. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a professional and collaborative work environment focused on critical infrastructure projects.
